I selected this model over others because of the reviews. The turntable stopped working within a month. The sound is very weak; I can not hear it in the next room when it is turned all the way up.
We bought this as a gift for my Dad and his girlfriend. They were happy. We were happy. I'm thinking of getting one for myself.
The sound is much better than I anticipated. This stereo arrived today, and I have not been able to stop listening to it. I have played CDs, cassettes, and the radio as well. With a 1940s look and the ability to play all of my old 45s, I could not be happier. Every scratch on my old records is just a memory from the past. This stereo is definitely one of the best purchases I have made for myself in a long time. I highly recommend it.
The knob on the tuner is really hard to turn. Otherwise it is sturdy and arrived without any scratches or nicks. The turntable and cd player works very well and has good sound quality
Very nice. Has everything one needs in one place with a great "antique" look.
